Hello fellow paranormal enthusiasts! My name is Ivy Boyd and I am the brains behind the creation of The Seattle Ghost Club (TSGC). I settled on this initiative as a way to build a sense of community while exploring and sharing some of the areas most iconic haunts.
A little bit about me…
Like so many other believers in paranormal phenomena, I grew up in a haunted home which catapulted me into a life-long obsession with all things ghostly. Having spent most of my 20’s off investigating some of the most reportedly haunted locations in the US (primarily in my home region of the midwest) I have now dedicated my 30’s to pursuing a degree in anthropology with a focus on paranormal beliefs.
While away from classes, you can typically find me collecting vintage and antique paranormal-related objects and mementos, or perhaps out looking for ghosts at Seattle’s most haunted locations while researching their histories, compiling reported paranormal encounters, and writing about them for TSGC’s blog. Moreover, I am always keeping my eye out for local conventions and conferences on such matters, including the annual Oregon Ghost Conference and the Port Gamble Ghost Conference of which I hope to booth at for TSGC. (See you there!)
Keep an eye out for future meet-ups, new blog posts, and more as I continue to grow and expand TSGC!
